It's our kids' attention that they're selling.
So we've got to stop this.
Here's Mark Zuckerberg's explanation.
In an interview a few months ago, he said, well, you know, a lot of people are lonely.
And he quoted some statistic.
He said, you know, on average, the average person says they have three or four friends, but they say they want to have 15 friends.
And so there's a gap there.
There's a market.
And we think that our chatbots can fill that gap.
So that- Okay.
Let me share with you guys, there's a Yiddish word chutzpah.
Everybody knows chutzpah.
Yeah, yeah.
So the definition I learned of chutzpah when I was a kid was it's a boy who murders his parents and then he asks for clemency from the judge because he's an orphan.
And in the same way, Meta is I think the biggest single contributor to the epidemic of teen loneliness.
Our young people are very lonely.
They don't have very many friends.
They have many fewer friends than they used to.
They spend a lot less time with those friends than they used to.
