So I think it could work.
Now, the team, in my opinion, still isn't built to necessarily go and win and become a World Series caliber team.
I just don't think they're there yet.
I don't necessarily think it matters to a degree to where it's going to
win them 10 or more games a year or so.
And I think a good manager can win you more ball games than a bad manager can lose you ball games.
And, you know, I think that right now with the Red Sox, they're going to continue to let these interim coaches see what they can do and give them a chance.
And I think they'll make those decisions as to whether or not in the offseason, whether or not, you know, do we bring in a higher caliber or a guy that's got more notches on his belt, so to speak, and be the manager.
I would not be surprised if Chad Tracy hasn't played well for the rest of the season that
they take the interim manager job position off of him and make him manager.
That's normal, man.
You know, that's normal to feel those ways, and that's normal human nature to want to pout, so to speak.

I think that it's the manager's job to really open up the lines of communication with that player and try to put that player in the best situations for him to start succeeding again, whether it's a setup role or the sixth inning or whatever it may be.
Make sure that he's getting put out there in situations where he's going to best succeed and build his confidence back up.
And say, hey, you know, if you get back to where you were, then the job of closing is still โ the door is still open.
But I think as a player, it's hard โ you know, confidence is key.
Confidence is everything as a player.
You know that.
