Like 530 is okay.
53 is not, that's not good.
That's 95-year-old man testosterone.
Totally get that.
I totally understand the anger, the sadness.
It hurts to feel like you missed something.
I also hate that doctors don't always give you the info you need.
I think that's infuriating and irresponsible, but it sounds like you're exploring some promising options here.
I'm not a doctor, obviously, but I will say anecdotally, I know a lot of guys that have abused steroids and other hormones for years and years and years and years and years, and they've been able to recover.
And they're not young, either.
They're my age.
So it's the idea that you've damaged yourself permanently, I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet.
So as you guys probably know, we don't usually take medical questions on the show because we're not doctors, we're not health experts by any means, unless the question is, you know, psychological aspect of a health problem or something like that, but I wanted to feature this letter because I think it's an important cautionary tale, and I know the listener would want other people to benefit from his story too.
I consider this a really important contribution to the episodes I've done with experts on fertility and hormone replacement therapy and libido and all that jazz.
So to the listener who wrote in, so sorry that you've been through all this.
This really sucks.
I actually find it super disappointing and again, unconscionable really that some doctors aren't telling patients about the risks of doing TRT, including the fertility thing.
That is crazy to me.
And I feel bad that you're beating yourself up for not asking better questions.
I get that.
