I've got, I've got a couple of Canadians, but I don't want to, I don't want to jump too far.
Yeah, two months, a little less than two months.
So, you know, the draft's now been at All-Star weekend the last few years.
So we'll have it.
They moved it.
It's they've just moved it back and forth because MLB can't make up its mind.
But the first round will take place on the Saturday of All-Star weekend, July 11th.
Now, I will also point out the other reason I say, oh, well, how much do Canadians care about the college baseball tournament?
The other reality is that the Blue Jays.
Don't exactly have the biggest draft pool this year.
In fact, I believe they have the second smallest of any team.
Of course, ahead of only the Dodgers, both of those teams spending big in free agency and with their payroll being as high as it is, meaning their first round pick drops 10 spots.
And then, of course, they also forfeited a pick for C. So the Blue Jays, you know, how much of a draft haul are they going to be able to get?
Who's to say?
But let me put two names on your radar here, okay?
So the first one that maybe if you're following, you know, okay, who are the top high school Canadians, right?
Because those are the ones that maybe get more attention because they come through, you know, Baseball Canada and stuff like that.
So Sean Duncan is a left-handed pitcher who my understanding is considered one of the top left-handed high schoolers in the draft.
And this is a draft loaded with high school players.
lefty pitching um and he's he's right up there with some of the guys from you know california and florida and so on so sean duncan is is definitely the top canadian prospect but the name i have to mention which i'm much more excited about is a gentleman named carter beck have you have you are you familiar with carter beck uh is this a name that that rings a bell for you because this will be on your radar now i i promise no carter beck i'm not familiar with um the uh
