People don't care about the dead until it's their dead, until it's somebody like me that shows up at their door to notify them.
And you see this play out, and it's a real sad state of affairs because people say you can judge a society by their prisons.
That's been an old adage for a long time.
I submit to you.

And it's a sad state of affairs in many places.
How did that get started?
Okay, this is how it kind of went down, and it's a fascinating story.
I was, like I said, I established the medical, I mean, I'm sorry, the forensics program of the University of North Georgia, diligently working away, you know, trying to get my mind right and all those sorts of things.
And it was in 2013, the same year that Blood Beneath My Feet won the award, right?
It's weird how life intersects.
