And this has been going on for a number of years.
You know, people like Mr. Hammer are in a minority of Jews, a minority of Jews vote Republican.
And then within that, a minority of Jews who vote Republican are inclined towards these types of politics, in my view.
And it is a cynical
I mean, and by the way, it's not just driven by Jews.
I mean, people like Senator Ted Cruz.
Lindsey Graham.
Tom Cotton.
They clearly revel.
They clearly revel at the opportunity to call someone racist for once.
Like, I mean, I just think we shouldn't use this conversation at all.
Not to imply that there aren't genuine bigots and racists in this country.
And frankly, some of them are pretty strident critics of me because I try to advance a principled criticism of Israel, principled non-interventionism.
And I think there are people who actually want
to agree with Benjamin Netanyahu, that they want the conversation to be about Jews.
And I think that plays into all the wrong people's hands.
And I think you can totally criticize the governor of Israel.
You can totally argue that the United States should have nothing to do with this and that does not make you a bigot.
In fact, some of the most
uh brilliant and principled critics of israel uh for decades now are jews and have been jews
