We're getting close to the draft, so it's getting to the point where we can stop talking about all the speculation and the rumors that are coming around and actually put
some finality to these picks and, you know, really start evaluating just how much these teams improved over the course of those three days.
Yeah, I mean, first of all, I don't want to minimize, you know, the actual accident.
Obviously, there were people that were affected by that.
So definitely want to be thinking about them and, you know, give them a little grace through this.
But I think it's, you know, it's kind of weird the response that people had to this report coming out.
It was almost like.
Insiders were saying NFL teams knew about it.
It's not going to impact their decision-making.
Well, the other side of it is the public is just learning about it.
And I think the court of public opinion is very important when teams are making decisions.
If you're a first-time general manager, you don't want to be standing up there on the podium thinking,
answering questions about your first, first round draft pick.
And that player, you know, has had some legal issues that you're now having to discuss immediately in what should be, you know, a really exciting first day for a general manager.
I do think it comes into the equation.
You know, I don't think it's going to sway teams heavily.
But if it comes down to, you know, we're considering a couple of players, you know, maybe the advantage now goes to the player that does not have that looming over his head.
Uh, so I, I see it being kind of the, um, if there's a split decision, kind of a tiebreaker exactly.
