The fans are just now learning about this.
So whether it's new to you or NFL teams is kind of irrelevant because again, I think the court of public opinion matters.
He's at the top of my edge board for a couple of reasons.
One, he's kind of expressed his desire to play that at the next level.
And two, I think, you know, there's split decisions on what his best position is.
If he's more of an off ball, if he's more of an edge rusher.
if you're taking him in the top three overall, you're going to have him rushing the passer.
That's just where the value is.
You know, I know Sonny Stiles is, you know, being projected in a similar range, but to me, if you're taking Arvell Reese in the top three overall, it's with the intention of making him a full-time pass rusher.
Now, what I will say is I think there is,
an element of him needing to land in the right situation where he doesn't necessarily need to be a full-time address or a full-time off-ball linebacker.
You can kind of deploy him in a few different ways to where you're able to maximize his versatility.
I think that's the best outcome for him.
So, you know, I don't want to put him into a box because I think he is a unique talent.
But at the end of the day, his best value to me is going to be,
making that transition to edge rusher full-time and rushing the pass rusher, or rushing the quarterback, rather, just like Micah Parsons and Abdul Carter.
Both of those guys were former off-ball linebackers.
They made the transition pretty seamlessly to rush the passer in a year, and now we're seeing them as being two of the better edge rushers in the NFL.
Obviously, it's early in Carter's
and he may still have some maturity issues that he needs to clear up, but certainly a gifted player.
