The Trump administration has openly thrown its support behind both Polymarket and Kalshi.
They've sued states that have tried to regulate them, and they've cleared the way for Polymarket to reenter the U.S.
market when it was banned under Biden.
This administration, the Trump regime, is actively protecting these platforms.
And it's presumably because people that they're close to are profiting off of the White House's policy decisions.
And even the White House knows that there's a problem because you can see this happen in real time.
After the ceasefire, the White House management office sent a staff-wide email warning employees not to use their positions for these well-timed bets.
This wasn't an email sent out as a hypothetical.
they know people are doing it from inside the White House.
Over $760 million in oil futures changed hands in less than two minutes, 15 minutes before Trump's announcement.
Senator Blumenthal, he sent a letter to PolyMarket saying that it was an illicit market to sell and exploit national security secrets.
And it was a honeypot for foreign intelligence services.
I mean, why wouldn't it be?
If I were an enemy of the United States, I would take full advantage of this.
You even have Republicans like Blake Moore saying that we don't want to imagine a war where America's adversaries use the prediction markets to anticipate our next move.
It's not partisan.
Both parties have bills pending to ban these kind of bets.
And that's where it's really important to make a distinction here.
Donald Trump is not a Republican.
