There's those that just think it's absolutely ridiculous and don't get it at all.

I was one of those kids that was totally swept, just totally swept away by it.

The combination of music and story and that you could break into a song and that the singing of that song would somehow tap into some deeper way of expressing the story.

I suspended that disbelief.

But the music man is where the line is okay.

I love that that's the one where you're like, but that guy with his little traveling salesman box, when he breaks into song, I believe it.
