There's an English language version, an Italian language, and a Sicilian version.
I learned these languages as a singer because I grew up learning these art songs, and I would sing in French and Italian and Spanish.
I don't speak the language fluently, but I learn them, of course, when I'm singing them.
But I sent in a demo of the Italian version to Coppola and the team.
He was being honored for the AFI Lifetime Achievement, and he asked me to do it for that.
And I sent in a demo and I was really nervous and I worked like for two weeks on it.
And then they sent me back a note saying like, oh, no, no, Mr. Coppola would like it in Sicilian.
And so that is when I realized that there was such a thing.
And yeah, you learn something new every day.
Just to throw your weight around.
Because what's really the difference?
