Yeah, absolutely.
And, you know, I feel for the fans of the club because you turn up and you just want your team to give you a chance of winning games of footy and playing finals footy and then ultimately competing for premierships.
And this club is so far from any of that at the moment.
It's not funny.
You know, the mental scarring that's already attached to...
The part that we've had to look past because there's so much else happening is they gave up a lead in a game.
I mean, it happened again.
And we're not even talking about that, which is the right thing to do because there are more serious circumstances at hand.
But, I mean, the issues and the toxicity and the problems at the club from top to bottom at the moment, you straightaway start to think to yourself, geez, I'm glad I don't barrack for Carlton.
I think it's a negative because of the reason it's happening.
Now, there's a psychological aspect, of course.
I mean, there's a psychological aspect for the fans who are in the crowd.
They're not even the ones who have to go and make it happen
And Carlton clearly, I personally believe in some of the reason why, you know, Crips has started games on the bench in the second halves and, you know, Walsh has spent a little bit longer on the bench for a chunk.
They know they can't run out games and they can't sustain the level of intensity around the footy required to win games.
And I think it's highlighted by... Now, these two players have been far from their best players, but...
But the recruitment of Haywood and Ainsworth, to me, highlights the inefficiencies and the deficiencies for the rest of the list in terms of guys who can't cover the ground at high speed.
You look at the way Ainsworth can hit the odd footy at ground level.
or get a handball receive, or lay a tackle at the speed he can.
And Haywood, the same.
