Of course, Nick did what Nick does, but he kept them going with what he was able to do around the footy.
So, I mean, just simply put, how do you solve their personnel issues in the forward line?
McStay's never been more than one and a half goals a game, ever.
Membry is right at the end of his career.
So...
I mean, could McCreary do it?
I mean, you've got to think super lateral here for them to get something happening in the last part of the year as a forward line.
Collingwood, do you mean?
Yeah, one of them definitely will, maybe both.
But again, I'll probably share the view that whoever's in that wildcard group won't be doing anything more than just participating in the first week of the finals, probably.
Sando, I've got two questions for you.
The first one is, I mean, back when you got the job, I doubt there was, but nowadays, is there any sort of psychological evaluation?
I mean, coaches are asked to present and this is how we'll play and this is what we'll do and this is what the environment is like.
Is there any assessment of a coach's and incoming coach's psychological evaluation
state so that the club can be a little bit more aware of, you know, when they might need to intervene, when they might need to give some assistance to a new coach?
one thing that you know i did the the coaching stuff on a very part-time basis for a couple of years and like coding the vision was something that um that just was it jumped off the page to me that i don't want to do this stuff full-time i don't want to be sitting and watching i've just watched the game in real time i don't want to see every contest six or seven times um afterward
I mean, can AI play a part in... Can AI get in there and say, well, I want to see every centre-bounce clearance that was out the front for the opposition?
Because...
I used to go in and seven Geelong coaches would be doing seven hours each on the same game and they'd show the players two or three clips.
It just felt like coding the game was such a momentous task that all coaches had to do and felt like they couldn't do without.
