And I think to loop it all the way back to the beginning, I think when I sort of rail against pathetic men and I say, I think stories about pathetic men in fiction are interesting because they are sort of showing us how people,
these characters are sort of based on real people and how we can keep our eyes open to prevent ourselves from falling into these traps.
And I think in real life, it is interesting because I'm like, you understand that
you are centering this person in your life and you are making sure that all of their needs are met and all of their emotional needs are met, but like water your cup too, right?
Take care of yourself too.
And when we're saying that masculinity is rigid and inflexible, this is one of the issues because if men were able to talk to each other and have more friends and go out more and like have real relationships with one another, they wouldn't outsource all of their emotional needs onto their partners, right?
They wouldn't make,
women and their partners sort of carry this load a hundred percent of the time where you are then again for the third time entrapped and ensnared because this person is your only person to like manage all of your emotions.
Thank you so much for having me.
