Manly were actually in control for long periods of that game, and it was actually Penrith who had to fight and grind their way back into it.
So although it's a loss for Manly, with Fogarty going down and then Walsh coming in, you still gain some confidence.
They weren't, you know, Grubby mentioned the errors, so they weren't at their best, either team.
But to go toe-to-toe with Penrith when you lose your halfback and have to bring in a rookie halfback, it's a big tick of confidence and they can learn from that.

Again, like me and Grubby were talking off air, when you debut, particularly as a 19-year-old, it's easy just to play your role and just allow the other players to take control of the game.
But he was in the thick of it and going after it.
A couple of nice runs early.
He laid on some beautiful no-look passes, put Olukuatu through once to set up a try.
And he didn't look overawed at all, did he?
He looked like he belonged out there.
He wanted to be there.
