But Dolphins just had a little bit too much class in the end.
Tough conditions.
Great to see Bostock back, another St.
George Jr.
But again, you look at the West Tiger situation on the weekend, they're going well and then Adam Dewey comes out and gets injured.
You've got to make a change.
Well, Jerome Hughes is out, so you're going to Wishart.
Scores a try to open the match up.
Bang, does his ankle.
He's off.
So some more changes there.
I'm not too sure how far Jerome is off, but they've just got to keep working hard and trust that their effort is going to repay them.
But if anyone is β their systems are hurting the most from the way the game is trending, it's the Melbourne system because they've β
build it for so long off controlling the ruck, and once you control the ruck, you get your defensive line set, your edges are set, they're up and in, they can make clean decisions, but they're not working at the moment.
And it's from that lack of ruck control, and you can't get that back anymore because the refs will just keep going and then you're going to lose a tackle eventually.
And if you can't defend off a quick play of the ball or your system isn't designed for that, I think they need to make some adjustments.
This is the other thing too.
I don't know.
Like, everyone goes through form slumps and, you know, playing at your best and not playing at your best.
But I don't know if I've ever seen that Melbourne, like, those Melbourne guys in that Melbourne system again.
