So he's facing enormous headwinds in terms of being able to win.

This is a team that is set up in the short term to lose simply by the fact of they're playing... The roster is loaded with young guys.

They all play, for the most part, alongside each other.

It's almost impossible to be mistake-free.

And for all the quality that C.J.

McCollum brings on offense, he's been not good on defense.

And...

Chris Middleton lately has not been very effective unless he's playing Milwaukee.

So he's facing all these headwinds.

That's all true.

I think that's a necessary context.

Having said all that, I don't see a team that is close to playing to whatever its capability is.

And that shows itself on defense.

Are there times when they play good defense?

Yes.

Is it too much to expect –

A young team to play 48 minutes of very good defense probably is too much to expect.

But even having said all that, they don't seem to be anywhere near good.

but they could be in the short term.
