And then he said, so I did it, but I'm doing the scene as if I'm Abel Ferreira.
So, and I'm like doing like the, I'm not talking.
He goes, you're doing me doing the scene.
That's eventually what's happening.
So, yeah, that's exactly what I'm going to do.
He's been sober 13 years, and his book is good.
When I worked on my first film, it was that situation.
Each take, he'd just walk away, wearing the lobby microphone, go to a bar, pound a beer, and then put the beers inside of his jacket.
Do the scene with Ronnie, who's the lead of the movie, Mary's husband.
And who I wrote the movie with.
And then Ronnie, Ronnie would do the scene with him.
They never had one word outside of the actual scene where they exchanged each other.
And then for years, Abel would introduce me to people as his director because I don't think he remembered my name.
