And he went by the nickname Rusty.

And he had a degree in applied science and mathematics from Auburn University, as well as a law degree from the University of Houston.

And he later worked as a NASA computer engineer.

So another very intelligent individual.

And Rusty first saw her out at the pool of the Sunscape Apartments.

He instantly liked and was attracted to how smart she was.

They hit it off.

And soon after, they moved in together.

They then got married on April 17th, 1993.

And according to Rusty, they plan on having however many children that came along, just however many that God gave them, they were good with that.

Rusty said, quote, My favorite role in this life is being a father, and I think being a mother is Andrew's favorite role.

and they would end up having five children together.

Their first child, Noah, was born in February 1994, and their second child, John, was born in December 1995, and their third was Paul, and he was born in September 1997.

And during these years, the family moved to Florida briefly, and then came back to Houston, living out of an RV for a while.

In 1998, they moved into a converted bus that was sometimes stationed in a trailer park.

At one point during this time, Andrea expressed that she felt depressed and overwhelmed.

Rusty suggested that Andrea talk to her mother and a friend of hers for some guidance.
