She told Bonnie about what she had experienced and after seeing how scared and serious Jennifer was about her story, she knew that she wasn't making this up.
So Bonnie decided to call a family meeting to discuss what was happening in the house.
And that's when everyone learned that each of them had an uneasy feeling about the place.
The family then came to the conclusion that their new dream house may have actually been a nightmare.
They had no idea what exactly they were dealing with, but they could all sense that it was something malevolent.
Bonnie and Sean knew they would need to keep their family safe from whatever this thing was.
And that's when Bonnie remembered hearing about a very famous pair of paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren.
She had first learned about them nearly 20 years earlier, in 1976.
That was when the Warrens were dealing with the well-known Amityville haunting involving the Lutz family.

And according to them, they never charged anything for their investigations.
Instead, they made their money by giving lectures and licensing their stories.
