I love the banter, but then he doesn't balance it with giving you anything serious.

Anyway, so we're texting back and forth.

And then I phoned him that night because I was cooking and it was hard to text.

And we just had a chat.

Then we're just texting back and forth.

And then he made like a joke like,

oh how obsessed are you with me then i put obsessed is a strong word then he put don't deny it and then i said do you want me to be fully honest with you and if i do that don't give me a dumb reply because he oh no because his default is if you think i'm sarcastic he's that times a thousand yeah yeah and often you say something cute or wholesome and he'll just be like you're a loser

Which is usually funny.

Anyway, then he put, honesty is the best policy they say.

So then I say, I'm not obsessed, but I do think about you from time to time.

Yes, because out of all the guys I've dated or chatted to or whatever since then, you were somehow different.

And it's like that occasional looming thought of, was this the one that got away?

Then I go, but also I think, no, I shouldn't think that way because ultimately you are very sweet, brackets, in the rare moments you're not being a dickhead.

And you're quite grounded.

And I am a slight mess of a person who I often doubt is still capable of anything serious because my head always feels so imbalanced.

I regret sharing this in the pod now.

And then I go, and then I believe I would just end up hurting you at some point in some way.

So that was me full vulnerable, full being honest, being like, we've had a good few days talking.
