And she apparently stands up to do like a speech to the entire group where she mentions various couples and whatever stage they're at.
And the speech ends with her congratulating Stephen in front of everyone.
And I quote on finger banging Rachel.
And some people laughed at this.
Some people cringed at this.
And Rachel just did not find it funny in the slightest and got very upset.
I was very humiliated.
And adding a whole new layer to this, Stephen is also a bit upset, not just because he's been humiliated also, but because apparently he never actually stated to anyone that the bits he did with Rachel involved that specific act.
And basically the entire week then just revolves around that comment and he's being dubbed by me at least as the big finger bang divide of 2026.
then i'm told that as the week drags on some are like beck was out of order and they're on rachel's side some people are like okay rachel kind of move on get over it you know it was just a joke because she gets quite upset every day like she just yeah this hurt her and then rachel is even more hurt when she finds out that stephen and beck had like a private chat at some point about this
I think he was maybe trying to diffuse the situation or perhaps he was trying to say, hey, I didn't actually do that specific act.
I don't know the details of that bit.
But also when people say, Josh, why do you stick with Married at First Sight despite so much toxic behavior on the show?
It's things like this.
It's the fact that the biggest show in this country this week is going to have a whole storyline that millions of people are going to watch and talk about surrounding this question of was somebody fingered or not?
And bear in mind, this comes a week after the country was divided last week, as we all questioned, should grown men have teddy bears?
And last point about the couple's retreat, Gia also somehow manages to bring herself in the middle of the big finger-bang divide with Juliet by her side.
And, you know, as Rachel becomes too emotional to argue, Gia and Juliet are now hammering back, like, how could you do that?
You're disgusting.
