And I just stayed silent, thinking...

Fucking hell.

And like, as a journalist, I'll never reveal sources.

That's just how this world works.

And like, I'm a man of my word.

But as that person who 30 minutes earlier was on the phone to me saying, come get loads of content was now becoming quite vocal about my presence being there.

I was thinking, okay, you might want to pipe down with this pretend outrage over there because

If you carry on, I will happily get my phone out and show the call log.

To try and defuse the situation though, I said how I'd been told by multiple people and I explained how like celebrity hotspot venues like this always have staff and people inside who leak things to the media and then things gradually calm down.

But that feeling of like paranoia amongst them as friends started to question each other.

It just never really left.

The collective conversation then turned to like my involvement with the show and how I cover it.

I spoke about how I often

help cast members out through my platforms once they get like screwed over and feel like they don't have a voice and want to share their side to whatever the story is.

And a few of them told me how they followed me for years.

They listened to the pod.

They kind of understand what I'm about, what I do.

They told me how they'd been told by previous cast members who they'd reached out to once they were cast, who had kind of said, yeah, you can trust Josh, he's all right.
