And now I've got a bit of like a hot take on this situation.
And this may sound a bit controversial, but bear with me, please.
Because this like whole discussion I'm seeing today of like people being like, well, if she was sleeping with someone until days before the wedding, it means like she didn't go on the show for the right reasons.
And can I just say, having worked so many seasons of the show and chatted to, met, worked with, I'd say the majority of people to some extent who have been on the show, not a single person is on there forever.
for the right reasons.
Because if someone genuinely wants love and that's all they're looking for in life and wanting, like they'd be on the apps, they'd be out there speed dating, they'd be hitting the town, meeting people, going to bars, they would be doing anything bookmuffs
which has the worst success rate possible and has been proven time and time again to match people mostly for conflict.
Like again, going back to the right reasons, if someone really does want love that badly, like they wouldn't do this show or no offense, they'd be a moron because how much is out there?
that proves it's not a place to find love at all.
It's a place to ruin your reputation, ultimately.
And, like, I don't doubt that many cast members may have hope they will find love as a result of going on this show, but their primary purpose for applying is not that hope.
It's more like a thing in the back of the mind, like, oh...
Hello and welcome back to the Maths Funny Podcast and welcome to my first apology of the season.
Unfortunately guys, I recently and accidentally became a perpetrator of fake news and I used this platform here to unknowingly hint at a false narrative and my journalistic integrity has since come into question.
Mostly by myself to be honest because I don't think anyone else has even noticed what I'm about to tell you but...
I won't be able to sleep at night until I get this off my chest, set the record straight and publicly apologise to two people in particular.
Right, before I recap week two and share my thoughts on this shit show of four episodes, which have been chaos, the apology.
And warning, the next two minutes or so will contain a slight spoiler about one couple, so skip ahead if you don't want to know.
Right, so as some of you listeners may recall, last week, after we watched an insecure Rachel break down on her honeymoon while misunderstanding Stephen's banter as some personal attack, I came into this studio...
I sat behind this very microphone and I told you guys that I believe these two are like the first to leave the experiment.
