So this is why I'm baffled by all of this.
And this kind of brings me to the big question now.
So why are they friends?
Are they enemies?
Or are they two people who from the second they met, they both realized that they could get the most screen time and reality television fame by exaggerating a barely there feud and making a secret pact to play it up on camera to achieve the end goal of infamy.
Despite the fact that, hey, in real life, they don't actually mind each other.
because that's the theory that I'm now leaning towards.
And I'm even told that on the show, they do briefly reunite and bury the hatchet for, I think, one episode, only to then fall out again and have even more drama, which I suppose would, yeah, prove this theory.
I now believe that things between them may always have been a little bit calculated.
Because actually, if you ask me, if there's one thing that I think Beck and Gia hate a lot more than we're led to believe they hate each other, it would be the idea of going on a show like Married at First Sight and not becoming one of the most talked about cast members.
And well, how do you achieve that?
How do you make sure that happens?
Well...
you embellish, you exaggerate, and you manufacture drama that may not actually be real, all for the sake of creating great television.
Once again, kind of proving that this theory may actually be true.
I've just seen a TikTok of Gia and Beck in Channel 9's headquarters that was filmed in November, and they're doing a viral dance trend.
They're, again, looking like best friends, huge smiles, having fun, giggling, and they've both captioned that video,
Running amok at Channel 9 like we own the joint, but low-key, we do.
So now a bigger question is, if my theory is true, were Channel 9 in on this, or did Gia and Beck manufacture it all together?
And the producers believed it was real, but they knew it wasn't.
