Moving on now though, a listener called Kaya sent me a voice note earlier this week and she's got a theory on why the honeymoon destinations are always so vastly different.

Now I get asked about this quite a lot every single year.

And as far as I'm aware, there's two reasons why the destinations are so vastly different.

And the first one comes down to money and not in a sense of they're on a budget because they've spent the most than in one cupboard to Fiji.

It's more where can they get deals with like,

certain regions or resort and you know one year they might get tourism queensland um say hey we're gonna pay x amount if you send one couple to this resort and wherever or what i think one couple went skiing or to the mountains this year so they maybe had a deal with

that resort or the snowy mountains like that region it's usually as simple as that and then when it comes to the producers deciding well who goes where my belief is usually the couples they expect the most drama from are younger and maybe sexier they tend to get the more tropical destinations because they want them in the sexier looking locations like they want them in bikinis in the sun by a pool because

at the end of the day sex sells right oh and kaya's boyfriend also had a lot to say about scott as his backstory played out earlier this week and he was baffled a bit as scott started bragging about like what time he goes to bed and then what time he wakes up because you're a wanker mate
