Do we just give people, old people a pass because they're old?
Well, exactly.
So why was this man not arrested?
If there's no harm and there's not necessarily bad intent, it's more generational.
When they just let him walk away, I was like –
Well, especially with this new hate speech law and especially in Bondi where so much has happened.
And then I was furious.
So guess what I did?
No, I followed the old man.
I wanted to know where he went, what he does.
Was he going to another pharmacy?
Is he a minister of society?
And you know what he did?
He went to a newslet, he shoplifted.
I watched him through the window.
He goes around the side, opens a backpack and he's putting things in there.
Greeting cards, birthday cards.
Yeah, like $7.99 a car.
But I was like, who's this old man?
They're my other friend.
