We need to build this out.
I think it would be a huge change in our politics.
There will be people who have conservative worldviews and liberal worldviews and people who are religious and people who are not.
That's always going to be there.
But what doesn't have to be there is the sense that
those other people are untrustworthy and unworthy of respect and that we can't share power with them because of the terrible things they'll do if they're given the chance, right?
And it's that conspiratorial sense that they're an untrustworthy other undermining me and my people and what this country is supposed to be.
That's what's so toxic.
And we can have our disagreements about policy issues, deep, important, powerful disagreements, but not have that
And that's what I hope that the game, when it gets out there, will do.
Strangely, not that much changed after January 6th or January 20th of this year.
We've been a divided country for a while.
I mean, this is not new, this sense that we have different conceptions of who counts as us.
So what's happened in recent years is different.
And you do see it in the numbers, like polarization and distrust, it's up.
And the good news is that the game, it's not an overnight fix, but it moves the needle.
People play the game once, we see effects four months later.
And there's no reason why you can't play it lots of times.
Impatience, you know?
