Now, all they want to know is how do they fix it? And so we've done a really good job and the media has done a decent job of educating people about the problem.

And on medication, they're much less dangerous than the general population. They are much, much more likely by a wide margin to be victims of violent crimes than perpetrators.

In really bad American fashion, We punish them when it's not their fault. And we need to set up a better system of care so that people don't end up in the criminal justice system that was never designed for people with these illnesses.
