unless, no, there's no, yes, the Russians have whatever Witkopf was doing or saying on his personal cell phone. The way Witkoff should have handled this and the way this meeting should have been conducted is Witkoff should have gone into the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and gone into their secure compartment facility and conducted his participation by videoconference.
That's how this whole thing should have happened. There should never have been a signal chat used as the vehicle for a discussion that involved anything sensitive regarding national security. The Russians undoubtedly have it.
Well, you know, that was a really sad story and just, you know, makes your heart break for that child. But I think what we're hearing is a lot more of what Brad Schimel says when he's in private, what he says when he believes he's in a group of his political allies versus what he'll say on a broader stage when he thinks he's talking to a general audience.
It has happened over and over in this campaign.
Listen to what he says, listen to his words. And he's talked about begging on his knees for campaign contributions, wearing out his knee pads. He's saying that he wants to be on the court to be part of Donald Trump's support network. You just got to listen to what the guy says. He wants to be on the court to push a partisan agenda.
He wants to be there to support Elon Musk and to support Donald Trump and Doge. And that's really not what the court's for. And I've said over and over, I want to be on the court to protect the people of Wisconsin under our constitution and laws. Brad Schimel's got a whole different agenda.
It is. Right. Yeah. I mean, I don't even know what to say about it.
Well, this is somebody who won't take a stand to protect the people of Wisconsin under our constitution. He is saying that in a number of different ways, but that's what his position was. And there have been cases in the past where attorneys general faced with a clearly unconstitutional law have said, I cannot defend this.
And in some of those instances, the state's governor has gone on to find a different lawyer to defend the laws or the laws conceded as unconstitutional. But Brad Chimel is somebody who won't take a stand for the people of Wisconsin.
He is. he has basically said he wants to be a rubber stamp. He said he wants to be part of Trump's support network. And Elon Musk has paid canvassers going out around the state saying, we need Brad Schimel to support the Trump agenda. And he is aiming to be a wing of the Trump administration from the Wisconsin Supreme Court. It's not what the role of the court is.
And so I would say even to people who... maybe like Donald Trump, like what he's doing in Washington, D.C., and even people who think that Elon Musk might be doing some good out there. What do we need in the Wisconsin Supreme Court? We need a court that's going to apply the laws, interpret the laws fairly and impartially and uphold the rights of people in Wisconsin under our Constitution.
We don't need somebody who's going to rubber stamp everything that you know, the Trump administration is doing or even anything that is happening in the state of Wisconsin. It's just not the role of the court.

Well, it's not because he cares about Wisconsin. I'll put it that way. He doesn't, you know, I don't think he's ever been here. I don't think he really knows who he's running these ads against. You know, the first ad that they put out against me had a picture of a different Susan Crawford in it that they, I guess, had found on Google. So I think he's doing it for a
And he's been pretty open about it. He's got paid canvassers going door to door in Wisconsin with flyers that say protect the Trump agenda. So nakedly partisan reason. And then also, I think Elon Musk is watching out for his own backside. You know, Tesla just filed a lawsuit in Wisconsin to try to
throw out a decision by Wisconsin licensors saying that they could not open dealerships to sell vehicles directly to consumers in Wisconsin. There's just a state law that doesn't allow that. So he's got a personal stake in Wisconsin courts. And I think he thinks he can buy himself a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Yeah, well, Brad Schimel, depending on what group he's talking to, because he says different things to different groups, but he just said the other day when he was speaking to one of these turning point groups, far-right conservative groups, that he wants to be part of a support network for Donald Trump. So if he ends up on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, he's going to bring a far-right agenda.
He'll lock in a very conservative majority on the Supreme Court. And honestly, I think he's the most extreme candidate to ever run for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. So any cases involving... The rights of Wisconsinites, things like reproductive health care, access to health insurance coverage, protection of the environment, protection of public safety.
I think those go by the wayside because Brad Schimel has always been about protecting the big money special interests. That was what he was like as a Republican attorney general, you know, rubber stamping Governor Scott Walker's agenda and going out actually around the country, trying to eliminate abortion rights for people, not even right here in Wisconsin, but people all over the country.
