Now these two statements are completely at odds with each other.
One of the final witnesses that the state called was Detective Juan Segovia, and he had been assigned in 2020 to take over the case, and his testimony was incredibly useful for the prosecution because it took all these little pieces of testimony from all these other people and essentially tied it together in a very effective narrative as to the motive, the means, the opportunity for Rashawn Jones to kill Brian Pata.
It was the threats accompanied with the display or talk of the same type of firearm that killed the victim.
The jury also got to hear the post-arrest interrogation interview over Sean Jones.
