At just 32 years old, Dolores co-founded the United Farm Workers with Cesar Chavez and became one of the great organizers in American history. From 1965 to 1970, she organized the Grape Strike and Boycott, which started in California and spread all the way across the nation to that supermarket where I was shopping with my mom.
