Is it necessary?
It appears that there really is no other alternative at this point.
Well, first of all, I love being on your show and you are just one of the best in the business.
I've always said this to you, even when we were chatting on WMAL.
So I know that you are excited to have Dan back as well.
Obviously, I think like most people, we want to hear the inside scoop about what's been happening at the FBI, what he discovered, what he tried to accomplish and couldn't because of this institutional corruption at the FBI, what he thinks is
needs to be done.
Because I'll tell you, Vince, despite the really hard efforts of Dan and Kash Patel, it is hard to see how this FBI is salvageable at this point.
And we had new documents posted this week by Senator Rand Paul, 70 pages of records related to an investigation into a completely innocent woman.
You and I talked about this on the radio the other day.
I mean, what this FBI was up to for four years.
It's hard to see how it can be significantly reformed in a way that can earn back the trust of the American people, especially the political right.
So that's what I would like to hear from Dan.
And I'm sure he will have a lot of juicy tidbits for us to nibble on and also just hear about his experience there.
I mean, it's a welcome development in, I think, arguably the greatest unsolved mystery of January 6th, and that is who planted these devices apparently the night before.
And this is the hoodie individual, as you have covered and showed the video.
This individual wearing a hoodie, carrying a backpack, walking around Capitol Hill between 730 and 830 on January 5th, the night before, and allegedly setting these devices outside the headquarters of the RNC and the DNC.
where they were discovered within 20 minutes of each other, after sitting there for 17 hours, right as the joint session of Congress was set to begin on January 6th.
So this apparently is the individual who's in the hoodie.
who the FBI believes set those devices.
