And he was, yes, calling Trump a fascist and ripping on Trump in any number of ways, which Trump watched and wanted to talk to me about the next time I saw him right before the vote. But in the spring, just go back a little further, spring of 2024, he came on my show to promote his book, And Bill likes me and I like Bill and I've gone on his show many times, but he can't stand Trump.

So we were sitting on set and a lot of this is true of a lot of liberals who don't actually watch my show. They all just think I don't like Trump because they just remember the fight he and I had back in 2015, 16. So for a lot of liberals, they like me and they will pull me aside and kind of whisper in my ear about how terrible Trump is.

And then when they hear me defend him, they get kind of horrified. Right. So Bill comes on my show and he starts saying stuff about how Democrats don't deny elections. And we start I start fact checking him on Hillary and so on. And it dawned on him in the midst of that interview that I was a Trump supporter.

And honestly, Charlie, from that point forward, he did not even look me in the eye like he a switch flipped. And you could tell he was he just moved me into a different category of like, OK, here we go. Trump cultist. And it wasn't a great interview. I mean, it did well because it was very spicy, but we weren't connected.

And I much prefer to have a real connection with my guests as they come on, as you know. So then he invites me on his show. And by the time we get to November or late October before the vote, he had changed a little, a little bit. He was looking me in the eye. He was listening to me. But he made very clear he was voting for Kamala.
