I'm Julie Morgan.
The biggest movers list this morning includes names like Dell, Nokia, Lam Research, and Taiwan Semiconductor.
Let's look at the latter two.
Taiwan Semiconductor is up 5%.
The major supplier to companies including Nvidia and Apple reported a net profit of $16 billion for the October to December quarter, a 35% surge from a year earlier, better than what analysts were estimating.
TSMC also said it plans to boost its capital expenditure budget to $52 to $56 billion for 2026.
This is up from about $40 billion last year.
