Nico O'Reilly has played left back for most of the season, right?
I know he was a very kind of midfieldish left back.
But now he's got a position in midfield that brings a lot more balance, right, to the team.
I think he will make the World Cup squad, I think.
What's that smile for?
No, no, no, no, no.
I never like people losing their jobs, even at Marseille.
It's a very interesting one.
So, OK, they lost a PhD on Sunday, got smashed 5-0, and there might not have been a way back for him for that.
But it's not so much, I think, the problem here.
He was very frustrated and struggled to understand why his team could be very good one day, like against Lens, who were at the table at the time, and very bad another day, like against PSG, like against Bruges in the Champions League, in other games.
But if your manager can't really understand why his own team, so the players that he picks, the system that he picks, can't get that consistency, surely it's to be on him, right?
I mean, the fans had had enough.
A lot of the players thought he was far too intense and going from one emotion to another very quickly, which is very much him.
But in a way, I'm not surprised.
Do you think he gets another big job after this?
I think there's still clubs, including Spurs, who still like...
the good things that they see about Roberto de Zerbi, that they saw at Marseille, that they saw at Brighton, I think there's a lot of... He comes with a lot of baggage.
The intensity being one of the weaknesses that he has because the problem with that kind of intensity and emotional side of you as a manager is that you go up and down so quickly that I think, in a way, the players could lose you, the fans lose you, the club loses you too at the wrong time.
Yeah, I agree.
