and doesn't take up space or resources on planet, or reduces them because of splitting the type of tasks, but vastly reduces what would be needed if you were going to do it with another data center.
Now, can they get the same amount of compute from a data center plan or a satellite plan?
I'm sure the costs are just still fairly expensive to put up the satellite that they would need to.
But this might be done in a Starlink situation.
I'm not exactly sure.
I mean, they're still in that design phase.
But it would be interesting to see because we have now multiple...
Right?
Probably.
Probably.
We technically already have one, but it's not to the degree of how much material a Saturn ring is or a Neptune ring or anything like that.
But...
Yeah, there is something like 22,000 pieces of debris and satellites already orbiting our planet at LEO.
So that's why there's lots of planning involved and lots of tracking of everything.
Yeah, some future sight on this.
This becomes a little more sci-fi.
But if your AI compute lives out in space, then...
That's where it could also be created and generated.
And so you could just have satellites that did all the work and then beam down to the planet.
So when you're talking about communications and entertainment and things like that, that could all just be done up there.
