Hey, guys.
Shaky ninth inning.
Is it time to put the experienced Jeff Hoffman back in the closer's role?
Just kidding.
Thought I'd start with some rage bait for all the listeners there.
But this game was never in doubt, guys.
I thought the Blue Jays, the Blue Jays are an elite team when they can consistently get to that magic number for runs, which to me is five.
And the way their offense is coming right now, I feel like that's a team that can generate that on a pretty consistent basis.
So great to see on that side of the ball.
Last series, I talked about Okamoto's swings, and it's really starting to pay dividends.
And I think as a collective, I know we've said it a lot, but I really think you cannot overstate the amount of change he had to go through, especially with having a little less time because of the WBC.
So just good to see him seemingly adjusting to things and starting to hit his stride.
Even with a fully healthy offense, guys, I love Ernie in the two-hole.
He's a doubles machine who can score from first to home on a double.
I think it's a really good spot for him.
Plus, if you think about Vladdy batting behind him, you'd think more pitchers would kind of challenge him in the zone more.
I know he's literally unable to take a walk, but still, I kind of like him there.
And just dreaming about that lineup fully healthy with Ernie in the two-hole, you know, your 7-8-9 hitters could be, you know, Varsho, Jesus, Sanchez, and Andres.
And that's, you know, a great lineup.
And I'll leave you guys with this.
