So unless Cena's going to get attacked physically to start some angle, that was the only way I could see Roman's match not ending the show.
That being said, that intrigued me because, okay, if Roman and Jacob are ending the show, you got to end with something, right?
it can't, you know, and I've been very clear here as a bunch of a fan of Jacob Fatu as I am, and I believe you agree with me, Roman Reigns isn't losing at Backlash three weeks after winning the world title in the main event of WrestleMania.
So it's like, all right, well, I don't just see Roman, you know, spear, Superman punch, one, two, three.
I just don't see us quite signing off like that.
That seems very anticlimactic, especially as they try to make every PLE have a little more matter than maybe what Backlash used to be.
So my hope was, even with Roman retaining, that this would be the start of some type of new chapter for Jacob.
You know, Jacob Fatu, he won the entire evening.
He just isn't walking around with the title around his waist.
But otherwise, it's the most over, J-Hood, someone could have gotten without getting the win.
I mean, it's the most over you could get without walking out as champ.
I mean, the repeated tongue-in-death grip.
romans foaming at the mouth spitting choking how about the imagery how about jacob has the referees and officials pulling the dreadlocks of his hair yeah like a savage what a visual that is i mean so yeah this is not over jacob fatu versus roman reigns is not over by any means and i'm here for it and jacob fatu
And Michael Colt, all of his credit, as the commentary, as great commentary does.
This is the Jacob Fatu we were warned about.
He sold the gravitas of the danger.
