But at the same time, you know, focus on the strengths of our game.
And, you know, through this period, whether it be through personnel with injuries or turnover of players across the summer, we've had a lot of inexperienced players, you know, in our team, particularly on one of our edges.
You know, that's...
contributed I think to a little bit of a fall in confidence in some of the way that we play so I think it's about making sure that we just acknowledge that yep these are the areas we need to improve but at the same time have a lot of confidence in our strengths and the game we play and the players that we've got and I think you'll see a much better performance on Saturday night.
I think absolutely we can.
You know, I mean, the challenge for us is learning to win in a different way than what we have in the past.
You know, we've lost our two best strike attack players this season, Ellie Cattell for the entire year and Xavier Coates, who's, you know, 12 to 14 week injury.
So the way that we score has to change and we need to adapt to that.
And we just haven't been able to do that quite yet to the level that we'd like.
As Craig said, we've led at half-time in three of those five losses.
Now, two of those losses we were categorically beaten, and that's fair enough.
But I think in the other three, not only were we in the game, we should have won those games.
So I think that we draw a lot from history in terms of what we did in 2012 and also last season, and the Broncos the year before.
I think they had a similar type of run at some point in that season, and they made a grand final.
There's a lot of footy left.
It's only April, but yet we clearly need to get back on the winner's list this week and start to build confidence and start to reset the season as we head into the next phase.
Yeah, it's very special, obviously, Gerard, not just to us, but to the entire country and the nation.
And obviously we all pause to reflect and remember.
