2012, 62-year-old Frank was arrested.
He faced up to 60 years in federal prison with a fine of up to $750,000 if convicted.
And a trigger warning here for suicide.
Ben, who's 24 at this time, he's getting ready to celebrate his first Father's Day on Sunday, June 17th, when his dad, Frank, died by suicide.
Sadly, Ben was the one to discover his father's body on the family farm.
Frank was just really struggling at this time between these charges and this fraud.
He had also lost his wife, Ben's mother, three years before.
Losing their father to suicide not long after the death of their mom, it must have been extremely hard for the two brothers.
