Both Justified and Short Term 12 were two things that I really felt like, oh, I'm finally getting to get down to the stuff I really like to do, which is like play a person that feels really, really different for me. And I think that that's what I always want to do and I want to continue to do that.

And like, I also was so like aware of just how I, I was like 14 when I 13, 14 when I did the show or when I started it. And I was really aware of the fact that like, Oh, this is, these are some cool people.

and getting to like do a scene with margo martindale was sort of like just just so crazy and i think i was like not old enough to have seen any of the like any of the actors work necessarily so i was just meeting them as people and i was just like in awe of all of them um And I was, yeah, I was, like, doing accent work for the first time.

And I felt like, oh, wow, I'm I still to this day think it was like Justified and Booksmart and maybe Dopesick were like my favorite sets that I've ever been on.

I think at certain moments they definitely, like, you can feel the energy shift. And that is another, like, powerful thing about, you know, making movies and TV is that shift. When you're actually, like, making it, like, in real time, people are, like, kind of, still and respectful and like actually watching the scene play out real time in real time. I think that that's a really cool experience.
