Here's what it's not going to be.
It's not going to be, I agree with this also, but it's not going to be like somebody poured you a glass of hot water, handed you a tea bag, swiveled the screen around and wants two extra dollars.
And also that's like complicated because of the way our minimum wage works in the United States.
That said, the grievance that I have is when you get your bill and tips are automatically calculated, like it'll say 20% check here, 15% check here, 25% check here.
But when you look at it, those numbers have been calculated after taxes, right?
Like you don't calculate tips after taxes.
And I generally, at least I'd like to think of myself as a generous tipper.
I think it's important having had service jobs in the past.
I know how much you rely on that.
But the pet peeve is that added thing is like, don't tell me it's 25% if it's actually not 25% of what I ordered.
If it's 25% of the, because like I'll tip 25%.
But it shouldn't actually then be like 32% that I'm tipping.
Like just let somebody tip what they want to tip.
