I'm Karine Torbay reporting from Lebanon, where I've been hearing from people who, not for the first time, have to abandon their homes because of a conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

We'll hear how they're trying to rebuild their lives and about their hopes for the future.

This is Rashana.

She's 39.

Tir is her home.

It's on the coast in the south of Lebanon, 20 kilometers away from the border with Israel.

At the end of February, Roshana was busy planning a party for her daughter Freya.

Freya was about to turn four.

Everything was ready, but it was a party that never happened.

Once again, life in Lebanon was interrupted by war.

In March, Hezbollah militants fired rockets into Israel from Lebanon.

Retaliation, Hezbollah said, for the U.S.

and Israeli war killing Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

Also for Israeli missile strikes into Lebanon during what was meant to be a ceasefire from a previous war.

Israel responded, escalating its military operations in Lebanon.

Israeli troops invaded southern Lebanon.
