So I'll jump in real quick.

If you haven't heard already, Apple has gotten off the bench.

and has made a multi-year deal with Google to make Gemini the model layer of their next version of Siri, which is supposed to come out sometime this year.

So, big news for all the Apple device folks.

I know it's sort of an Apple user meme right now of Siri and some of the problems trying to use it.

So...

Some of the details is they plan to bring out a new version of Siri later in 2026.

They did integrate ChatGPT support at a certain level for Siri, and that integration is expected to remain.

But Google's Gemini will now become the default model layer for the upgrade.

Now, this probably will raise a few questions down the road about platform dependence and competition, since it does extend the long-running Apple-Google relationship for search.

And I know there's been questions about that ongoing over the last couple of years.

So this is just expanding out or deepening of their business arrangements.
