What I'm not sure about is my main complaint about ChatGPT Voice is that it starts speaking before it writes the thing.
So if it gets interrupted, the answer is not fully formed.
And then you've lost that part of the conversation.
I've not been able to test that with an interruption.
Like, okay, I will continue to test and see how this is going to work.
The other thing that relates to both of those stories and is its own story was OpenAI being sued by the child, teen, right?
uh who committed suicide responded by saying um you're not allowed it's against our user uh use policies to use chat gpt in a way that uh results in suicide or self-harm and like wow uh yep
oh, you violated our user policies by killing yourself and therefore we're not responsible is a hell of a take.
But I am not sure that moving further into voice and something that is able to create something based on your desires that also has this policy of whatever effects you have, well, those are on you kind of stuff.
is a tricky place for me because it seems to me that they're then looking at this as removing their responsibility.
The first priority is to remove any responsibility that they have and then to look at what the effects might be.
Or looking at what the effects might be is so that they can position it in a way that they're not responsible, which we talked about the other day.
Like we're going to build it.
Y'all decide how it what you want to do with it and what it's going to be.
Those are my stories on that.
And that is certainly happening in an environment in which multi-communities, multi-nations are having conversations internally about do we have a collective responsibility to each other or not, right?
