Chris Whittaker, who's kind of the new version of James Lee Burke in a way.
Gillian Flynn's books, I think, are quite underrated.
You know, they're really commercially popular, but I also think they're beautifully written.
Yeah, I'm a big fan of Nordic noir.
I don't read a huge amount of it.
I find that my version of Nordic noir is more like Twin Peaks than true, authentic Nordic noir.
And I sometimes find, I love good Nordic noir, but I sometimes find the density of the language in terms of
the Swedish names, the Swedish street names and places can sometimes throw me out of the story.
And the more knowledgeable I'm becoming of the Swedish language, the less that's an issue.
So I'm starting to enjoy more of them, actually.
But yeah, I'm a big fan of Henning Mankell and previously, you know, Stieg Larsson.
Also, one of my favourite books ever is Miss Miller's Feeling for Snow by Peter Herg, which I think in terms of writing weather and seasons and landscape is superb.
What have I read recently?
The last book that I kind of finished and then had to just take a moment, had to take a walk, was Razorblade Tears by S.A.
Cosby, who is an American author.
This is his second book.
I don't think it's out yet.
I read a proof copy.
