It's crazy.

It's a crazy system.

It's got so many problems.

We do have some.

Well, and we don't want to be like, no, we don't need it.

I agree.

Because one of the biggest problems in our country is mental health.

It's a huge problem.

And a lot of people go untreated because they don't have health care.

You've seen a lot of you're seeing a lot of mental illness, a lot, a giant portion of it.

We were just having this conversation the other day because it's inhumane to determine how a person should live their life and where they should live their life.

Yeah, it's a very, very complicated gray issue for sure.

You know, you see it in Portland where I live.

It is a very complicated issue because there is not one solution.

It needs to be a multi-pronged solution with a lot of hands on deck.

Yeah.

Unfortunately, when they did that, they didn't put the services in place ahead of time to be prepared for it.

Well, yeah.

I mean, it's a chicken egg thing, right?

Because like what comes first, the addiction or the homelessness?
