U.S.

stocks rallied today after news of a ceasefire agreement with Iran.

The Dow jumped 2.9 percent, the Nasdaq was up 2.8 percent, and the S&P 500 leapt 2.5 percent.

Investors are betting that lower energy prices will help the Federal Reserve cut rates.

Meanwhile, benchmark U.S.

crude futures plummeted 15 percent as trade flows may soon resume.

Among individual companies, Levi Strauss shares jumped 11 percent.

The apparel maker said its turnaround is working and upgraded its full-year guidance.

Intel shares also rose 11 percent today to reach their highest level since 2021.

Elon Musk is partnering with the company to build chips for his TerraFab project.

Blue Owl shares slipped 1.5% after Moody's downgraded one of its private credit funds.

The ratings agency cited investors asking to withdraw a large share of their money.

Shell shares fell 5% following the news of the Middle East ceasefire.
