are particularly concerned about but obviously you know huge parts of the coast when the winds turn and the weather conditions change quite dramatically but actually the authorities did also say that the fact that they were all wearing life jackets did contribute to their survival and that's something that the authorities have made sure to emphasise that importance of wearing life jackets.
There's a very heavy police presence here at the funeral of Elie Schlanger, a British-born rabbi.
Just a short while ago, a hearse pulled up and a coffin was removed.
They laid over a black velvet shroud with the Star of David on it.
and the coffin was taken inside.
There were mourners weeping as it entered the synagogue.
More mourners now are coming down, and the ceremony is about to begin.

Now it's the chance for the public to pay their respects to Rabbi Eli Schlanger as the funeral procession goes through Bondi.
